God, I pray for forgiveness this day.
I know that I have failed to be the best person I could be.
I have failed in ways that are huge,
And I have failed in ways that are small.
I have lost sight of you,
And I have lost faith in others.
Lord, please forgive me.
Help me to forgive myself,
And help me to do better tomorrow.
Amen.
