Don’t let us forget, O God,
How you have redeemed us.
We are a forgetful people,
Often losing focus on the things that really matter.
We chase our tails daily
Looking for things that we cannot find
And running after things that will not satisfy.
Yet you call us to abundant life. Lord, help us to follow you toward that path of life,
Denying the death song that was destroyed through your power.
Amen.
