When I am feeling terrible,
When I think all things have gone wrong,
When I see others’ sorrow
And I am drawn deeply into it.
When I lose hope,
Or when I sense others have lost their hope
In you,
In themselves,
In me,
Please, God,
Restore me.
Fill me with your spirit when I do not have enough strength to get by.
Double your spirit within me when my spirit grows faint.
