On this day of all days, O Lord,
Help us to remember that political borders are not created by you,
But by humans.
All boundaries that separate humanity
Are created by humans,
And the things that bind us in true community
Are of you.
Remind us to forget our differences,
And bring us into true, global community.
Amen.
