Perhaps the best possible way we can learn how you feel about us
Is to spend time with our families.
You have given us earthly families who show us acceptance when we are unacceptable,
Love when we are unlovable,
Compassion when we least deserve it,
And grace upon grace.
And, as much as our families love us,
You love us more perfectly still.
