Great God,
Creator of all things present in this age,
I turn to you in thanksgiving
For the wonderful world you have created
And the care with which you have treated humanity,
Your creation.
We think of ourselves as only a tiny step below yourself,
We are proud,
Haughty,
And unmindful of all you have done
To give us life
And hope
And love.
Make us mindful of you
And all you have done to love
And sustain us.
Turn our hearts toward you,
Or create new hearts in us that cannot deviate from loving you,
We pray.
Amen.
