Send the rains of your mercy
To an overwrought,
Hopeless,
Cold and loveless world.
Send the rain to cover all things
And all beings
With your grace,
And let that rain
Soak into our hearts
And into the very fabric of the earth
That we might be loving,
Generous,

Fulfilling your vision for humanity.
